Webster Groves Historical Society Trivia Night February 11th “The Way We Were” The first Webster Groves Historical Society Trivia Night “The Way We Were” will be held Saturday February 11th. The event will be held in the Hearth Room behind the historic Hawken House Museum 1155 South Rock Hill Road in Webster Groves. Doors will open at 6:00 PM and the first round of questions will begin at 7:00. There will be 10 rounds of 10 questions each. Some of the categories include Civil War, Advertising Slogans, St. Louis Sports and Celebrities and in the spirit of Valentine’s Day, Famous Lovers to name a few. The cost is $20 per person or $160 per table of eight. Complimentary popcorn and setups will be provided. Participants are encouraged to decorate their team tables and bring their own appetizers and beverages. Included during the evening will be a Silent Auction, 50/50, mulligans for purchase and “Heads and Tails”. Prizes will be awarded for the best decorated table and for the winning and losing team. Your hours are not on the website . Is this purposeful? Anyhow, for the Dec. 1 tour for the Harwood Hills Women’s Club, we would like to come about 11:15-11:30. will this work? I can do one tour. We usually have 20-30 women. See you on Thurs. Joan
Could you please let us know if you will be having a 2011 holiday house tour, and the particulars if you are.
We will not be having a holiday house tour, but feel pretty sure that Hixson Middle School will. We will have our annual Christmas Open House at the Hawken House on Sunday December 4th. Visit us on Sunday November 6th for our 3rd Annual Christmas Market from 11:00-4:00.
Doug, our webmaster is still tweaking the new site and will add our hours. I look forward to seeing you and your group on December 1st.
